Artist Bio

Anirban Dasgupta is a sharp, nimble, and uproarious comic from Kolkata. An engineer-turned-corporate professional, he left his sales job in 2014 to pursue comedy full time. After several hit YouTube videos, he released his acclaimed debut special Take It Easy on Amazon Prime Video, followed by co-creating the black-comedy thriller Afsos. Internationally, he has performed at the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow, was a New Face International at Just For Laughs 2022, and debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024. He recently wrote Raat Jawaan Hai and is now touring his show Cry Daddy.
